Institute of Islamic Art and Architecture (IIAA)
The Institute of Islamic Art and Architecture at the Lebanese American University is dedicated to the study of architectural and visual culture in the Islamic world. The Institute’s mission is to help the academic studies in Islamic art and architecture as well as to propagate this knowledge within the LAU community as well as the interested public. The IIAA also aims at providing a link between international scholars and regional community of scholars and designers.
As a bridge between the past and present, the institute aims at bridging international knowledge in these fields with regional and local needs.
