The Lebanese American University, department of Natural Sciences invites applicants for a tenure track faculty position at the rank of Assistant/Associate professor in Biochemistry with a solid background in chemistry

Applicant is expected to have:

  1. PHD in Biochemistry with a solid background in inorganic/organic chemistry
  2. Applicant duties in teaching will include: teaching biochemistry, organic, inorganic chemistry as well as general chemistry
  3. Very good experience in the use of NMR for proteins/lipids structural determinations and molecular techniques
  4. Very good Skills in chemical and biochemical analytical techniques such DNA recombination, PCR, Chromatographic and spectroscopic techniques
  5. Postdoc/industy experience is preferable

The successful candidate will be expected to teach courses related to this position, actively participate in innovative and independent research that leads to international refereed publications, supervise graduate students, and perform academic services to the Department and to the University.
