The Humanities Department in the School of Arts and Sciences at the Lebanese American University (LAU) is seeking applications for a full-time faculty position in Translation at the Visiting Assistant/Associate/Full Professor rank for one or two years. Candidates must hold a Doctorate degree in Translation, and must possess a record in teaching, research, and scholarly activities.

The Department of Humanities (http://sas.lau.edu.lb/humanities/) is one of the seven departments of the School of Arts and Sciences (http://sas.lau.edu.lb/) at LAU. The department offers a B.A. degree in Arabic Language and Literature, a B.A in English, a B.A. in History, a B.A. in Philosophy, a B.A. in Translation, and an M.A. degree in Comparative Literature.
