The Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences at the Lebanese American University School of Pharmacy invites applicants for a part-time faculty position to deliver the laboratory course of “Pharmaceutical Analysis & Biotechnology” in fall 2016 semester. Successful candidates should have a Master and/or PhD in Pharmaceutical Biotechnology (or a closely related field) from a recognized program/institution, with documented evidence in the use and application of the following methods: HPLC, spectrophotometry, electrophoresis, DNA extraction, bacterial transformation, PCR, and enzymatic reactions. Prospective candidates must have a mastery of spoken and written English, with effective communication and interpersonal skills, collegiality, and cooperative abilities. Priority will be given to candidates with teaching experience in a higher education setting.
