The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the School of Engineering (located in Byblos, Lebanon) invites applicants for a tenure-track faculty position in the field of Computer Engineering effective October 2012.  Candidates must have a Ph.D. degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering in areas including: multimedia / software engineering, programming language design, artificial intelligence, operating systems, database and information systems, parallel and distributed systems, computer graphics / animation. The successful candidates will be expected to teach at both the graduate and undergraduate levels and to actively participate in research as well as to perform services to the university. 

The BE program in Electrical and the BE program in Computer Engineering at LAU are both ABET accredited.
