The School of Engineering (located in Byblos, Lebanon) invites applications from outstanding individuals for a tenure-track or visiting faculty position in the field of Petroleum Engineering effective September 2015. The position will be at the assistant professor rank but qualified candidates with established research and teaching credentials may be considered at higher ranks.

Candidates must have an undergraduate degree and a Ph.D in Petroleum Engineering, (with preference given to those who have American experience in Teaching, Industry or PE holders). Postdoctoral experience and/or expertise in teaching will be an advantage. The successful candidate will be expected to teach at both the undergraduate and graduate levels, build a strong research program, attract external funding, advise students, contribute to curriculum development, and participate in service activities in the department, School and the University.
