The Business Office in Beirut is currently searching for an Accountant in the Payroll Section.
Basic Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Handle all file activities related to benefits (Mainly Schooling, travel expense and insurance…)
- Data entry to oracle.
- Responsible for maintaining schooling schedules and their reconciliation with Human Resources.
- Responsible for all travel expense invoices related matter (Following up with travel agents and keeping all related records in order to prepare final travel expense report).
- Responsible for preparing, analyzing and executing travel expense reports.
- Responsible for preparing periodic payable account analysis.
- Provide functional backup to the payroll officer responsible for maintaining appropriate backups and supporting documents relating to some specific element that constitutes the payroll.
- Backup payroll intermediate accountant with part-time payroll cycles.
Job Requirements:
- University Degree in Business.
- 1 to 3 years related experience and/or training especially in benefit and payroll related functions.
- Good command of English & Arabic
- Knowledge in the use of oracle financials and HRMS is a plus.
- Proficiency in the use of basic functional applications i.e Microsoft products.
- Knowledge of payroll environment is a plus.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
- Finally and most important, discretion, privacy, integrity, credibility and high standard of professional conduct.
