Driver (Part-time Position)

The Auxiliary Services Office- Beirut Campus- has a vacancy for a part time driver (32 hours / week). The driver is mainly responsible for providing transport services to university executives, faculty, staff, students and guests, and drop-off and pick-up materials related to University business, as well as delivering by-hand mail.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Provide transport services to all entitled LAU community from senior administration to students from/to various destinations
- Delivers by-hand mail coming from offices to suppliers, schools, universities, alumni etc…
- Delivers inter-campuses mail and parcels
- Takes good care of the University car he is using (Fuel refill, wash, routine inspection)
- Performs other duties pertinent to this job as required
Required Skills and Abilities:
- BT level or equivalent
- Customer Service oriented with a positive attitude
- Capable to drive vehicle with manual transmission
- Able to work overtime and during holidays and weekends
- Basic knowledge of written and oral English
- Thorough knowledge of Lebanese areas and roads, especially in Beirut city
- Holding Public Driving License is a plus
