The Human Resources Department is currently looking for a Faculty Relations Specialist for its Byblos Campus. This position reports to the Director of Compensation & Benefits at the Byblos Campus.
Role Summary
The Faculty Relations Specialist is responsible for processing all HR and personnel transactions of Byblos-campus full-time and part-time faculty members, in coordination with the concerned chairpersons and deans.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
- Processes all HR transactions of Byblos-campus full-time and part-time faculty members.
- Validates faculty compensation and prepares faculty contracts and subsequent addendums, ensuring compliance with institutional policies and regulatory requirements.
- Processes new faculty appointments’ and establishes their personnel files and HRMS records.
- Explains the fringe benefits to newly hired faculty members and assists them with enrollment procedures and forms.
- Coordinates with the school and concerned departments to ensure smooth administrative Onboarding of new faculty members.
- Reconciles and verifies faculty teaching load and resolves discrepancies, in coordination with chairpersons and deans.
- Processes salary advances and payment holds & releases for full-time and part-time faculty members.
- Prepares employment statements and certificates for full-time and part-time faculty members.
- Continuously updates faculty records and profiles on HRMS.
- Responds to enquiries from full-time and part-time faculty members with regards faculty-related issues.
Minimum Required Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in business or law from a renowned university
- 4-5 years of relevant work experience
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Oracle E-Business Suite
- Excellent communication skills
- Sound analytical thinking & critical judgment
- Service excellence and customer focus
- Excellent organizational skills
- Demonstrated accuracy and thoroughness with attention to details in performing work duties
- Ability to work under pressure
- Ability to work within a diversified team and foster a spirit of cooperation and integrity
