The Financial Aid & Scholarships Office is recruiting a Senior Financial Aid Officer for Beirut campus. The position reports to the University Director of Financial Aid & Scholarships.
Role Summary:
The Senior Financial Aid Officer is mainly responsible for collecting and processing financial aid and scholarships data.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Receive financial aid applications and insure that all required documents are submitted.
- Perform data entry of financial aid information.
- Provide financial aid services to applicants, students and parents.
- Schedule and conduct interviews with parents.
- Respond to electronic and phone inquiries with students, applicants, and parents.
- Assist in compiling data needed for statistical reporting.
- Follow-up with students on Financial Aid related issues.
- Assign and process students’ work and employment hours.
- Participate in student recruitment, orientation and registration activities on campus.
- Communicate with University offices and faculty about student work related issues.
- Issue letters and fill forms requested by students pertaining to their financial aid and scholarship decisions.
- Select and match students receiving aid for annual scholarships.
- Post office announcements, and perform some clerical and administrative support duties.
- Review, analyze and classify financial aid applications.
- Verify and compare financial information submitted and request additional documentation when needed.
Minimum Qualifications & Skills:
- Holder of Bachelor’s Degree from a renowned University
- 6 years of relevant work experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to provide quality customer service
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Ability to uphold organizational values and maintain confidentiality and integrity
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Ability to work well within a team
