The Student Recruitment Office is currently looking for a Student Recruitment Officer for its Byblos Campus. This position reports to the Executive Director of Student Recruitment.
Role Summary
The Student Recruitment Officer promotes LAU among school principals, counselors, parents and prospective students. This is done through connection building, networking, and counseling and in-class presentations. The Officer will visit high schools and give Admissions presentations, distribute and present promotional materials, discuss campus information with counselors, students and parents, collect information needed from students to answer enquiries concerning academic offerings and collect pertinent information concerning visits. He/she represents LAU in regional fairs, school fairs and other educational fairs. He/she also represents the recruitment office in all on-campus events.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
- Conducts presentations about LAU and communicates information about programs, admission requirements, Financial Aid and available services.
- Establishes and maintains a solid relationship between LAU and high school staff through visits.
- Represents LAU at social and/or educational fairs in Lebanon and abroad.
- Prepares and organizes campus visits for prospective students.
- Provides counseling for prospective students and parents, and guides students through enrollment.
- Follows-up with targeted students.
- Trains work-study student assistants to help in recruitment.
- Maintains an updated comprehensive school database to generate all necessary reports.
- Organizes the “YOU@LAU” event.
- Participates in all LAU events targeting high school students.
- Communicates LAU’s updated publications with high schools.
- Prepares the merit scholarship database.
- Organizes Principals’ Dinners/Lunches.
- Schedules school visits and handle the logistics.
Minimum Required Qualifications
- Bachelor degree with Any Specialization
- 1 -2 years of experience
- Microsoft Office Suite
- Interactive Communication skills, with initiative drive
- Resilience and Self- Confidence
- Team-player
- Advanced writing skills
- Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness with attention to details in performing work duties
