Update on Classes, Exams, and Instructional Arrangements (March 9-13)

Dear Students,

We are thinking of you during these difficult and uncertain times and hope that you and your loved ones remain safe.

To support the continuation of the learning process while prioritizing your safety and well-being, the following teaching modalities will be in place from Monday, March 9 through Friday, March 13, 2026:

  1. Lecture-based classes will resume online for both campuses.
  2. Experiential courses, such as labs, studios, and clinical courses, will remain suspended during this period.
  3. Synchronous classes will continue to be recorded and made available to you.
  4. No exams or graded assessments will take place during the week of March 9.

Students who are required to travel and who plan to continue their studies at LAU this semester are requested to complete the Emergency Travel Request form available through the EDMS system, including your travel plans and proof of travel. The form will be reviewed and processed by your respective school.

Please stay safe, and do not hesitate to reach out to your instructors or your school at the email addresses shared in the March 2 communication if you require additional support.

We will continue to monitor developments closely and will keep you informed should any adjustments to these arrangements become necessary.

Sincerely,
George E. Nasr
