Academic Update for April 14-17, 2026
Dear Students,
As the university continues to assess the current situation, please note that classes, exams, and other academic activities during the week of April 14-17 will continue in line with the teaching and exam modalities outlined in the March 19 communication, as detailed here.
We recognize that many of you may still be navigating difficult and uncertain circumstances. We therefore encourage you to review your course schedules and plans carefully and to reach out to your instructors if you have any questions or are experiencing challenges related to course activities or exam arrangements.
To ensure that students have sufficient time to complete their course requirements, two additional instructional days will be added to the semester. Lecture-based classes on those days will be held online, while arrangements for other courses will be communicated by instructors as appropriate to their format. Saturday, April 18 will follow a Monday schedule, and Saturday, April 25 will follow a Thursday schedule.
The university remains committed to supporting you with flexibility and understanding during this time. Your safety, well-being, and academic progress remain our highest priorities.
Thank you for your patience, resilience, and cooperation.
Sincerely,
George E. Nasr
