The School of Nursing at the Lebanese American University (LAU) invites applicants for full-time faculty position to teach clinical or didactic courses based on program needs that are offered to BSN students.
Candidates need to have a master’s degree, preferably adult care or critical care specialty, as well as three years of verified clinical practice in a hospital setting. They must show that they are prepared to support the institution’s educational mission, vision, values, and objectives. The candidate need to be fluent in spoken and written English, have a professional demeanor, be able to communicate effectively with others, be adaptable and collegial, and be able to advise, mentor, assess and monitor the academic success rates of the students. Additionally, he/she should contribute to the Interprofessional Education (IPE) program at the School and University.
The Alice Ramez Chagoury School of nursing offers an undergraduate program leading to the B.S. in Nursing, and is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate nursing Education. Information about the School can be found at https://nursing.lau.edu.lb/
