Profile

The Department of Art & Design at the School of Architecture & Design invites applications for a coordinator for its Fashion Design program, to start Spring or Fall 2026. We are looking for an energetic and dedicated academic with a professional background in the field of fashion, and administrative experience to lead our program, which was set up in collaboration with world-renown designer Elie Saab. The director will be in charge of overseeing the curriculum, managing recruitment and program development, and organizing the activities related to the program, among which the annual fashion show.

Minimum Requirements

Candidates should have an academic degree in Fashion Design in addition to administrative and teaching experience, to be hired at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor of Practice. Salaries are competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Duration of position

This position will start in Spring 2026, which begins on January 2, 2026 or Fall 2026, which begins on Sep. 1, 2026. This position is typically for a 3-year term, based on an annual contract, open for renewal pending mutual satisfaction.
