Part-time clinical Instructor in community nursing

The School of Nursing at the Lebanese American University (LAU) invites applicants for several part-time faculty positions to support the delivery of the nursing practicum courses that are offered to the third year nursing students.

Candidates need to have a master’s degree, preferably in community nursing or public health, as well as three years of verified clinical practice in a hospital setting. Candidates must show that they are prepared to support the institution’s educational mission, vision, values, and objectives. Additionally, they need to be fluent in spoken and written English, have a professional demeanor, be able to communicate effectively with others, be adaptable and collegial, and be able to assess and monitor the academic success rates of the students in clinical settings. Candidate will supervise the nursing care of BSN students in a community health/population health clinical setting. Experience in supervising undergraduate students in the community clinical setting is preferred.
