The Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences at the Lebanese American University (LAU) School of Pharmacy invites applicants for a part-time faculty position to develop and deliver a graduate course with applied/practice components in “Quality Control and Assurance” of pharmaceutical manufacturing. Successful candidates should have a PhD or an MS (with preferably pharmacy background) in pharmaceutical sciences or instrumental analysis or in any other relevantly related field of study from a recognized program/institution. Comprehensive knowledge of and practice experience in the pharmaceutical industry with documented involvement in managing, conducting and/or directing quality control and assurance studies are essential. Priority will be given to candidates with teaching experience at the graduate level in a higher education setting. Prospective candidates must have a mastery of spoken and written English, with professional attitude, effective communication and interpersonal skills, collegiality, and cooperative abilities.
