The Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences at the Lebanese American University (LAU) School of Pharmacy invites applicants for a part-time faculty position in Pharmaceutics. The principle duties and responsibilities of the position are to deliver didactic and laboratory courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels in the field of Pharmaceutics, and support the initiative of developing policies and procedures, facilities and compliance readiness for Good Laboratory Practice recognition.
Successful candidates should have a PhD in Pharmaceutics or closely related field from a recognized program/institution, a post-doctoral training or equivalent research experience in the field, and documented didactic and laboratory teaching in a higher education setting. Mastery of spoken and written English, professional attitude, effective communication and interpersonal skills, collegiality, cooperative abilities and commitment to mentoring graduate students are all a must.
