Part-Time Faculty Position, Arabic

LAU’s Program for teaching Arabic as a non-native language (SINARC) invites applicants for a part-time faculty position to teach Arabic in either one of its campuses in Beirut or New York. Teaching experience in all levels of Arabic (introductory, intermediate, advanced, and colloquial Levantine) is expected. A minimum of Bachelor degree in Arabic/Middle Eastern Studies is required. Applicants should have native to near native proficiency in Arabic.

Prospective candidates should apply electronically by sending a letter of intent outlining their teaching experience and CV. The CV should include the names and emails of three references. Applicants should indicate whether they are applying for the Beirut or New York position, and whether they are interested in teaching during the regular academic year (in the fall and spring semesters) and/or during the summer intensive program.
