Postdoctoral Position in Theoretical Computer Science

Job Summary

We invite applications for a one-year postdoctoral position in theoretical computer science. The successful candidate will work on a research project funded by the Lebanese American University (LAU).

Applicants should hold a PhD in Computer Science or Mathematics, with strong expertise in theoretical computer science. The position particularly targets candidates with a solid background in parameterized complexity and exact or parameterized algorithms, with an emphasis on graph algorithms and computational complexity. A publication record demonstrating research activity in these areas is expected.

Experience with parameterized/exact algorithm design and analysis is essential. A strong programming background, enabling experimental validation of theoretical results, is considered a significant advantage.

The position is expected to start as soon as possible.
