Postdoctoral Researcher Position – N-IMPACT Internal Research Grant

The Adnan Kassar School of Business at the Lebanese American University (LAU) invites applications for a Postdoctoral Researcher position funded through an internal research grant.

The position is associated with a research project in the area of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and will support the implementation and advancement of the project’s research activities. The project examines contemporary CSR practices and their implications for organizations and their stakeholders, with particular attention to responsible and sustainable business practices.

The successful candidate will contribute to different stages of the research process, including research development, data collection and analysis, preparation of scholarly publications, and dissemination of research findings.

The appointment is for 4 months.

Key Responsibilities

The Postdoctoral Researcher will:

• Conduct and contribute to research related to CSR, sustainability, and responsible business practices.
• Support the design and implementation of the project’s empirical research.
• Conduct literature reviews and contribute to theoretical and conceptual development.
• Participate in data collection, management, and qualitative and/or quantitative analysis.
• Collaborate with the research team and relevant project stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with ethical research standards and LAU research policies.

Qualifications

Applicants should hold a Ph.D. in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, Sustainability, CSR, or a closely related field by the position’s start date.

Candidates should have strong research and analytical skills and demonstrated experience with qualitative and/or quantitative research methods. Evidence of research excellence through publications, manuscripts under review, or conference presentations is desirable.

Excellent academic writing and communication skills, the ability to work independently and collaboratively, and strong organizational and time-management skills are required. Previous research experience in CSR, sustainability, responsible management, ESG, stakeholder engagement, or related areas will be considered an advantage.
