Associate Comptroller, Investments & Portfolio Reporting

The Finance Corporate Affairs Department is looking for an Associate Comptroller, Investments & Portfolio Reporting.

This position reports to the Assistant Vice President for Finance, Corporate Affairs.

This is a central role that is primarily based on the Beirut campus with occasional commuting to the Byblos campus.

Role Summary

The Associate Comptroller, Investments & Portfolio Reporting is mainly responsible for supporting the Assistant Vice President for Finance, Corporate Affairs in overseeing the University’s investment accounting, investment-related financial reporting, portfolio analysis, investment operations, and related compliance requirements. S/he maintains the integrity of investment financial information, coordinates approved investment transactions; monitors portfolio performance, liquidity, exposures, and adherence to approved investment parameters, and ensures proper reconciliation with the University’s accounting records and external reports.

The Associate Comptroller provides defined analytical and portfolio-oversight support to the Chief Investment Officer (CIO) as needed.

Work Schedule

This role follows a standard Monday–Friday work schedule. However, due to the nature of the responsibilities, flexibility is required. The position may occasionally require availability after regular working hours, on weekends, or on holidays to support operational needs, ensure business continuity, and meet critical deadlines. This role requires collaboration across multiple time zones.
