The IT Support Office is currently looking for an Assistant Helpdesk Administrator, ITS. This position is based on Beirut Campus.Role Summary
The Assistant Helpdesk Administrator, ITS is primarily responsible for providing technical assistance to users by answering the Help Desk phone calls and emails in a professional and courteous manner.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
- Assists Faculty and Staff working on both Windows and Macintosh platforms; this includes Email, Microsoft Office suite and other common University applications (Oracle, Banner and Online Applications)
- Assists Faculty and Staff with general network, telecom and hardware issues
- Assists students with Webmail, Portal, online applications and wireless connection issues
- Logs all calls in the Helpdesk system
- Assists in software inventory management
- Performs other duties pertinent to this job as assigned
Minimum Required Qualifications
- Bachelor degree
- Strong writing and oral communication skills in English and Arabic
- Multi-tasking ability and excellent organization skills
