Part-Time Graphic Designer, DOS - Beirut
The Dean of Students Department (DOS), Student Services Office is looking for a Graphic Designer, DOS. This position is based on Beirut campus.Role Summary
The Graphic Designer, DOS is mainly responsible for creating posters, brochures and advertising material for all units reporting to the Dean of Students Office (Student Life Office, Academic Advising, Counseling, Career Services, etc.) .
Main Duties & Responsibilities
- Creates ideas and presents them in a clear and creative manner
- Uses illustrative material to produce layout design concepts
- Develops graphics and layouts for brochures, posters, logos, banners and workshops
- Retains archive of images, photos, or previous work and projects
- Produces still and animated graphics for news purposes
- Photographs events and assembles photos for reporting purposes
- Monitors department’s documentaries and posters in order to align with overall marketing plan
- Performs other duties pertaining to this job as assigned
Minimum Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in graphic design
- Minimum 3 years of related work experience
- Experienced in Photoshop and other visual design programs
- Demonstrated graphic design skills
- Creative and innovative
- Good photography skills
- Know-how in operating still and video cameras
- Advanced communication skills in English and Arabic (written and spoken)
