Part-Time Professionalism & Ethics Office Assistant (OPE Assistant)
The Professionalism & Ethics Office (OPE) is currently looking for an OPE Assistant reporting to the Coordinator, OPE. This is a central position that requires presence on both Beirut and Byblos campus.Role Summary
The OPE Assistant is mainly responsible for providing administrative and operational support for the Professionalism & Ethics Office. S/he facilitates the Office’s activities, maintaining records, coordinating logistics, and follow-up.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
- Receives and documents all inquiries and cases related to ethics and professionalism, and promptly reports them to the Coordinator
- Performs general administrative tasks, including drafting meeting minutes, preparing reports, and supporting day-to-day office operations
- Maintains and regularly updates the Office’s database and ensures proper organization, maintenance, and confidentiality of all files and documents
- Handles all logistical arrangements for Office events, including transportation, catering, multimedia, and other requirements
- Participates in all activities, workshops, trainings, and events organized by/for the Office (online and in-person)
- Assists in preparing programmatic reports and tracking progress on activities as requested
- Follows up on the implementation of planned Office activities
- Performs other duties pertinent to this job as assigned
Minimum Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum 1 year of administrative experience
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Good communication skills in English & Arabic, both written and verbal
- Strong MS Office skills
- Resourcefulness, and openness to diverse views with a demonstrated commitment to promoting ethics and professionalism
- Passionate about working with faculty and staff
- Must possess the nature and qualities to work with sensitive topics and maintain high levels of confidentiality
