Program Coordinator, OLE
The Outreach, Leadership, and Empowerment Office (OLE) is currently looking for a Program Coordinator, OLE reporting to the Director of Outreach, Leadership, and Empowerment. This is a central position that is primarily based on the Beirut campus with occasional commuting to the Byblos campus.Role Summary
The Program Coordinator, OLE is mainly responsible for coordinating and executing outreach and leadership programs and initiatives, including simulation models and major conferences as well as supporting all OLE Office initiatives.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
- Organizes, coordinates and executes outreach and leadership initiatives, programs and conferences while ensuring effective teamwork and high-quality outcomes
- Develops training content, workshops, and leadership materials tailored to student needs
- Coordinates logistics, scheduling, and program delivery while ensuring alignment with OLE’s objectives
- Applies evaluation methods to measure program effectiveness and recommend improvements
- Collaborates with faculty, staff, and external organizations to support programmatic goals
- Contributes to the preparation of reports and communication materials highlighting program impact
- Assists team members (student leaders) in social media communications and ensures its alignment with program strategy and goals
- Identifies potential leaders and proposes allocations
- Identifies leadership gaps and proposes alternative approaches
- Works collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including marketing, communications, and student leaders, to ensure a coordinated and cohesive approach to outreach and leadership development
- Coordinates and disseminates project related material
- Handles the filing and organization of work materials
- Acts as backup support for office staff as needed to ensure continuity of operations
- Performs other duties pertinent to this job as assigned by direct supervisor
Minimum Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum 3 years of experience in program coordination, outreach, or student development in an educational setting
- Proven ability to execute projects and ensure successful outcomes
- Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail
- Effective written and oral communication skills
- Strong MS Office skills
- Familiarity with program evaluation methods and leadership training practices
- Strong Interpersonal and cross-cultural communication skills: position requires interaction with students, faculty, staff, and partners from diverse cultural backgrounds
- Customer service oriented
Work Schedule
The standard work schedule for this position is Monday to Friday, with possible/occasional attendance after hours and/or during weekends (or holidays) to attend office events and ensure business continuity. Travel may be required.
