Protection Manager - Beirut

The Protection Unit is currently looking for a Protection Manager reporting to the Director of Protection. This position is based on Beirut campus.Role Summary
The Protection Manager is mainly responsible for supervising and coordinating the security operations on Beirut Campus, managing the security staff, implementing security protocols and procedures, as well as ensuring a safe and secure environment for students, faculty, staff, visitors, and university property.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
- Supervises the security staff on Beirut Campus, and conducts spot checks
- Attends university activities and supervises security operations
- Reviews all daily reports submitted by security guards and submits detailed daily reports to the Director of Protection
- Schedules and coordinates security shifts to ensure a 24/7 security coverage of the campus
- Supervises the operations of the parking zones
- Implements security response measures in case of emergency (fire, flood,…)
- Maintains effective communication channels for reporting security concerns and incidents
- Performs other duties pertaining to this job as assigned
Minimum Required Qualifications
- Bachelor degree
- 8 years of work experience in security, law enforcement or a related field, out of which, 5 are in a supervisory role
- Excellent organizational skills
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal in Arabic and in English
- Ability to remain calm and make critical decisions in high-stress situations
- Proficiency in security technology and systems
- Knowledge of security best practices, laws, and regulations
