Social Media Coordinator
The Academy of Continuing Education Office (ACE) is currently looking for a Social Media Coordinator reporting to the Director of the Academy of Continuing Education. This is a central position that is primarily based on Beirut campus with occasional commuting to Byblos campus.Role Summary
The Social Media Coordinator is mainly responsible for creating engaging content for social media platforms, suggesting and implementing campaigns in line with set marketing strategies to increase brand awareness, engage with target audience and drive business objectives.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
- Develops and curates engaging content for all social media platforms including text, images, videos and graphics
- Develops an optimal posting schedule, considering web traffic and customer engagement metrics
- Maintains and updates ACE’s social media profiles, ensuring consistency in branding and messaging
- Collaborates with the marketing teams to implement social media and communication campaigns that align with marketing goals
- Suggests and implements promotions and contests ideas to boost engagement and customer acquisition
- Attends events to stream live social media content
- Regularly tracks and analyzes social media performance using relevant tools and provides reports to evaluate the success of campaigns. Researches audience preferences and stays updated on trends to continuously improve social media presence
- Archives material of related projects
- Updates the website content when needed in collaboration with Stratcom
- Performs other duties pertinent to this job as assigned
Minimum Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, media, communications, advertising, graphic design or any other related field
- Minimum of 2 years of related work experience
- Certification in social media branding, social media strategy, digital design or google certificate is a plus
- Familiarity with online marketing strategies and marketing channels
- Knowledge of Google Analytics
- Strong understanding of various social media platforms and their best practices
- Ability to deliver creative content (text, image and video) and an eye for design, graphic design skills is a plus
- Multitasking and analytical skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
