Staff Training Coordinator
The Human Resources Department is seeking a Staff Training Coordinator, reporting to the Director of Staff Relations & Development. This position is primarily based on the Beirut campus with regular commuting to the Byblos campus.Role Summary
The Staff Training Coordinator is mainly responsible for providing logistical and coordination support in the planning, delivery, and evaluation of staff training programs and development initiatives across the university. S/he is responsible for logistical arrangements, communication with stakeholders, record keeping, and general administrative and coordination tasks to ensure effective, timely, and organized training delivery on both campuses.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
- Assists in organizing staff training programs, workshops, orientations, and professional development activities
- Coordinates all logistics for training sessions, including scheduling sessions, booking venues, ensuring technical arrangements, and preparing training materials and handouts; resolves any logistical issues that may arise and communicates updates to all relevant stakeholders to maintain a seamless training experience
- Proactively supports training planning and contributes to the training needs analysis process, ensuring that each program is thoughtfully designed and tailored to meet defined learning objectives; handles catering arrangements and facility reservations
- Liaises with external vendors for training supplies, venues, or services
- Coordinates registration and attendance records, including communication with internal stakeholders to confirm participants’ availability and logistics
- Creates, distributes, and tracks evaluation forms and assessment questionnaires using the corresponding software platform
- Prepares and issues certificates of completion in a timely manner
- Maintains organized training files and databases, ensuring that all documentation (attendance sheets, assessments, feedback forms, certificates) is properly stored in both hard and soft copies
- Tracks training completions and updates training logs regularly
- Supports trainers and facilitators before, during, and after training sessions
- Assists in preparing training-related reports, presentations, documentation, and summaries for management
- Compiles and presents data reports as required
- Reports periodically on the status and progress of work to the direct supervisor
- Stays up to date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies relevant to the role
- Provides backup support when needed to ensure continuity of operations
- Performs other duties pertinent to this job as assigned by the direct supervisor
Minimum Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or any related field
- Minimum 3 years of work experience in Human Resources, training/logistics coordination
- Strong MS Office skills
- Excellent organizational skills to meet strict deadlines
- Demonstrated accuracy and thoroughness with attention to detail in performing work duties
- Advanced communications skills in English and Arabic (oral and written)
- Service excellence and customer focus orientation
- Excellent team player with commitment to building a positive team spirit
- Ability to work under pressure
Work Schedule
The standard work schedule for this position is Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. However, additional attendance may occasionally be required after hours or on weekends to support and attend training activities to ensure their successful execution.
