TL Monitoring & Evaluation Expert

The International Services & Programs Office is currently looking for a TL Monitoring & Evaluation Expert reporting to the Director of International Services & Programs.  This position requires physical presence on campus during LAU operating hours and is primarily based on the Beirut campus with occasional commuting to the Byblos campus.

Schedule: Full Time equivalent to 40 hours/week.

Role Summary

The Tomorrow’s Leaders Program (TL) is an initiative between the U.S. Department of State’s U.S.-Middle East Partnership Initiative (MEPI) and the Lebanese American University (LAU) for capable and highly motivated young scholars in the Middle East and North Africa who are from underserved backgrounds.

The TL Monitoring & Evaluation Expert will assume responsibility in overseeing the monitoring and evaluation of all TL awards, including the development and implementation of M&E frameworks. S/he will ensure monitoring and evaluation practices are in compliance with the awards’ requirements and deliverables, and that frameworks are utilized to continuously improve TL awards.

The TL Monitoring & Evaluation Expert will coordinate with LAU’s Department of Institutional Research & Analytics (DIRA) and the different TL award Directors to streamline an M&E process that responds to quarterly reporting and beyond. In addition, he/she will coordinate with MEPI to implement and track award revisions.

Work Schedule

This position follows a standard work schedule (Monday to Friday), with possible/occasional attendance after hours and/or during weekends (or holidays) to ensure business continuity.
