TL Program Coordinator

The Office of International Services and Programs is currently looking for a TL Program Coordinator. This position is primarily based on Beirut campus with occasional commuting to Byblos campus and requires physical presence on campus during LAU operating hours.

Schedule: Full Time equivalent to 40 hours/week.

Role Summary

The Tomorrow’s Leaders Scholarship Program (TL) is an initiative between the U.S. Department of State’s U.S.-Middle East Partnership Initiative (MEPI) and the Lebanese American University (LAU) for capable and highly motivated young scholars in the Middle East and North Africa who are from underserved backgrounds.

The TL Program Coordinator organizes the main TL deliverables as per projects’ scope of work, specifically logistical and administrative tasks, and keeps record of all the tasks performed on a monthly basis for the various TL cohorts.  He/she also coordinates with the entire TL staff to ensure that tasks are delivered on time and are well implemented. Additionally, he/she follows up with different LAU offices when needed for matters that relate to budget, registration, admission, graduation, and bids.

The TL Program Coordinator also coordinates logistics for activities, workshops and seminars offered for the needs of the relevant TL award and completes all necessary forms to document the project progress, while ensuring compliance with grant requirements.
