Juhi “Ginger” Dagli
Vice President for Advancement
Mrs. Juhi “Ginger” Dagli joined LAU as Vice President for Advancement in July 2025. In this role, she leads the university’s global philanthropic initiatives in alignment with the strategic priorities of the university leadership, including the President and the Board of Trustees.
Mrs. Dagli brings to LAU more than two decades of distinguished leadership in international advancement, alumni engagement, and strategic development within higher education. Her appointment marks a pivotal step in LAU’s ongoing commitment to fostering a culture of philanthropy that supports academic excellence, innovation, and institutional sustainability.
In her present role she is committed to building a high-performing, mission-driven advancement team that operates seamlessly across LAU’s international campuses. In close partnership with the alumni engagement team and in collaboration with academic leaders, faculty, staff, and university stakeholders, she will lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive, multi-year fundraising strategy. This strategy will be rooted in deepening alumni pride, fostering meaningful engagement, and cultivating a culture of volunteer leadership and philanthropic investment. By amplifying the stories of LAU’s impact and celebrating the achievements of its global community, Mrs. Dagli hopes to inspire sustained support from alumni, families, and friends across North America, Europe, the Middle East and North Africa. Her priorities include strengthening donor relationships, expanding alumni networks, and reinforcing a shared sense of purpose and belonging that unites the LAU community worldwide.
Prior to joining LAU, Mrs. Dagli served as Associate Vice President for Global Leadership Development at Boston University (BU), where she led international advancement efforts for over 43,000 alumni across Europe, MENA, Asia, Latin America, and Canada. During her 15-year tenure, she played a transformative role in expanding BU’s global philanthropic footprint—securing multi-million-dollar gifts to support research, scholarships, endowed professorships, and the establishment of academic centers. She also launched BU’s first global parents’ network and was instrumental in founding the university’s International Advisory Board, a globally representative body that advanced BU’s international brand and strategic vision.
Her earlier roles include Executive Director of the Dubai Initiative at Harvard Kennedy School and Senior Policy Analyst at Abt Associates, further underscoring her breadth of experience in global policy and institutional development.
Mrs. Dagli holds a Bachelor of Arts in Marine Science and Aquaculture from Boston University. She remains an active contributor to nonprofit and civic organizations in Boston, particularly those focused on expanding access to education.
