Mrs. Rasha Fadda
Vice President for Finance – Chief Financial Officer
Mrs. Rasha Fadda was appointed as Vice President for Finance – Chief Financial Officer in January 2026.
In this role, she will provide strategic leadership for the university’s financial operations, building on LAU’s strong financial governance to support long-term sustainability and institutional growth.
Her mandate includes expanding and diversifying revenue streams, developing and executing a multi‑year financial plan aligned with institutional priorities, delivering accurate and timely financial insights to inform decision‑making, fostering cross‑functional collaboration and a culture of shared responsibility, and mentoring a high‑performing finance team.
A mission-driven financial leader, Mrs. Fadda brings over 27 years of senior experience across the telecommunications, fast‑moving consumer goods, pharmaceuticals and the non‑profit sectors. She has held senior leadership roles at Unilever, Mercy Corps, Merck Sharp & Dohme, Eli Lilly, British Telecom Global Services, and Allergan Middle East, and most recently served as Group Chief Financial Officer at the Clinton Health Access Initiative Inc. based in the UAE. She brings extensive experience engaging donors, government bodies, and regulators across multiple jurisdictions.
Mrs. Fadda began her career in Lebanon, where she spent 15 years developing expertise in the local financial and regulatory environment and building a strong foundation for guiding complex financial and strategic decisions in both local and international contexts. She has a proven track record in driving complex transformations and turnarounds, aligning strategic vision with operational rigor to strengthen institutional performance and sustainability.
Mrs. Fadda holds a BA in Business Administration from the American University of Beirut (1995) and is a Certified Public Accountant (2002).
