Profile
The Fashion Design Program in the School of Architecture & Design at the Lebanese American University is now accepting applications for Adjunct Faculty Position, for the AY 2024-25, for its Beirut Campus. The successful applicant must have prior experience in teaching the technical courses in Fashion Design – ie : Construction II-III (Sewing) and Pattern Cutting II-III Fashion Collection Execution I-II - ranging from intermediate to the senior levels which consist of the following courses: FAS 345, FAS 365, FAS 346, FAS 366, FAS 445, FAS 465, FAS 545, FAS 546. The faculty should be able to teach a combination of these courses, and take an active role in the program, assisting students at various levels. Minimum Requirements
Candidates should have a bachelor degree in Fashion, in addition to teaching and professional experience in Fashion Design.
Note: Given that this is a part-time position, the university cannot secure the candidate a work permit, if they do not have the legal right to work in Lebanon.
Duration of position
This position will open Fall 2024, which starts end of August and extends over the academic year ending in August 2025, and is renewable upon mutual agreement. For more information on Faculty Personnel Policies:
