Job Summary
The Department of Psychology and Education in the School of Arts and Sciences at the Lebanese American University invites applicants for an adjunct faculty position in Education. The Department is seeking highly qualified and motivated faculty members who are committed to innovative teaching, program development, and practicum supervision.
Responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Education
- Advise and mentor students
- Engage in service to the program, department, the university and the profession
- Additional duties may be set by the department in light of departmental needs and priorities.
Minimum Qualifications
- A PhD/ Ed.D. in Education from a well-recognized university
- Evidence of successful teaching experiences at schools (K – 12)
- Previous experience teaching curriculum design and assessment/evaluation courses
Department Profile
The Psychology and Education Department is one of the 9 departments of the School of Arts and Sciences at LAU. It offers a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Education, a B.S. in Psychology, a Master of Arts (MA) in Education, a Diploma in Learning Disability and Giftedness, and various Teaching Diplomas (TD).
