Position Summary
The Department of Natural Sciences in the School of Arts and Sciences at the Lebanese American University invites applicants for a full-time lecturer position in the field of Biological Sciences. The position is based in the Byblos campus. Prospective candidates must have earned a Ph.D. in Biological Sciences or related field. Previous teaching experience in Introductory/General Biology Courses for majors is a must.
Responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate general biology courses
- Coordinate multi-section general biology courses in both Beirut/Byblos campuses
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- A Ph.D. from a recognized institution
- Evidence of successful university teaching
The Department:
The Department of Natural Sciences is one of the five departments of the School of Arts and Sciences at LAU. It offers a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Biology, a B.S. in Chemistry, a B.S. in Nutrition, a B.S. in Nutrition and Dietetics Coordinated Program (CP), and a Master of Science (M.S.) in Biological Sciences with additional programs upcoming in the near future.
