Position Summary

The Department of Computer Science and Mathematics in the School of Arts and Sciences at the Lebanese American University invites applicants for a full-time lecturer position in Computer Science. The department is seeking a highly qualified and motivated lecturer who is committed to innovative teaching. Prospective candidates must have earned a Master or PhD degree in Computer Science. The successful candidate(s) is/are expected to teach a variety of courses in the field of Computer Science on the Beirut campus. Research engagement is not expected.

The Department

The Department of Computer Science and Mathematics is one of the five departments of the School of Arts and Sciences at LAU. It offers a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Computer Science, a B.S. in Mathematics, a B.S. in Bioinformatics, a Master of Science (M.S.) in Computer Science, a M.S. in Applied and Computational Mathematics with, an Executive MA in Actuarial Sciences and an Online M.S. in computer science. Additional programs are upcoming in the near future.
