Profile
The School of Architecture and Design at the Lebanese American University is currently accepting applications for a Full-Time faculty member at the Assistant Professor level in Architecture, to start in Fall 2023.
The successful applicant should have a research agenda, and should be able to take an active role in the program. He/she should be able to teach specific architecture design studios and to develop research in specific areas related to one of the following: urban planning, sustainable architecture, architectural theory or other areas of the curriculum.
Minimum Requirements
PhD degree in architecture or a related field, in addition to a minimum of three years teaching and a portfolio of research and publications.
Duration of position
This position will open in Fall 2023, which starts end of August 2023; and is renewed on a yearly basis according to university policies relating to Full-Time faculty at this rank. This position is in the Tenure Track, which is track reserved for faculty involved in research.
