Position Summary
The Department of Natural Sciences in the School of Arts and Sciences at the Lebanese American University invites applicants for part-time faculty positions in the field of Chemistry effective Fall 2022. The department is seeking a highly qualified and motivated faculty member who is committed to innovative teaching. Active engagement in research is a plus. Prospective candidates must have earned a PhD in Chemistry. The successful candidate(s) is/are expected to teach a variety of courses in the field of Chemistry on Beirut campus.
Responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate courses and laboratories in chemistry
- Engage innovation in teaching
- Provide courses and laboratories rich in student engagement
Qualifications
- PhD in Chemistry
- Active engagement in research is a plus
The Department
The Department of Natural Sciences is one of the five departments of the School of Arts and Sciences at LAU. It offers a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Biology, a B.S. in Chemistry, a B.S. in Nutrition and Dietetics Coordinated Program (CP), and a Master of Science (M.S.) in Biological Sciences.
