Position Summary
The Department of Natural Sciences in the School of Arts and Sciences at the Lebanese American University invites applicants for part-time faculty positions in the field of Chemistry effective Spring 2023. The department is seeking highly qualified and motivated faculty members who are committed to innovative teaching. Active engagement in research is a plus. Prospective candidates must have earned a PhD in Chemistry. The successful candidate(s) is/are expected to teach a variety of laboratories in the field of Chemistry on Byblos campus.
Responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate laboratories in chemistry
- Engage innovation in teaching
- Provide laboratories rich in student engagement

The Department
The Department of Natural Sciences is one of the five departments of the School of Arts and Sciences at LAU. It offers a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Biology, a B.S. in Chemistry, a B.S. in Nutrition and Dietetics Coordinated Program (CP), and a Master of Science (M.S.) in Biological Sciences.
