Position Summary
The Department of Physical Sciences in the School of Arts and Sciences at the Lebanese American University invites applicants for a part-time faculty position in the field of Physics, effective Spring 2027. The department is seeking highly qualified and motivated faculty members who are committed to innovative teaching, program development, and academic advising. Prospective candidates should have a PhD in Physics. The successful candidate(s) is/are expected to teach a variety of physics courses and labs on the Byblos and Beirut campuses
Responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate physics courses and labs.
- Engage in innovative teaching methods.
- Provide experiential sessions rich in student engagement.
Minimum Qualifications
- PhD in Physics.
- Evidence of successful university teaching.
- Good written and verbal English communication.
- Good organizational skills and ability to work in a team-based environment.
- Active engagement in research is a plus.
