The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering invites applicants for a possible teaching opportunity on the Byblos campus effective Spring 2023 (classes begin January 16, 2023). The course descriptions are as follows:

The main purpose of this course is to prepare the senior electrical engineering students for working in the industry upon graduation. This course enhances the concepts and applications of electrical engineering for both the consultancy and the contracting fields. Course topics include electrical design, calculations for lighting, power and low current systems design.

This course covers the English language proficiency, business letter writing, memo writing, report presentation and writing and the use of presentation software.

Applicants must have obtained a bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field by the time of appointment. Priority will be given to applicants with graduate degrees and/or relevant work experience.

For the GNE 301 (Professional Communication) course, candidates with a bachelors degree in languages or communication and relevant work experience will also be considered.

For all courses, preference will be given to applicants whose area of expertise is related to the course descriptions or to those with prior teaching experience.
