Adjunct Faculty, Fashion Design

The Department of Art & Design invites applicants for an adjunct faculty position starting Fall 2020. The applicant should have expertise within a range of fashion design courses, and the ability to teach in design studios as well as technical courses such as pattern-cutting, tailoring, and/or construction. Essential skills include an ability to plan lessons, engage with groups of students and work with a wide variety of fabrics.
Minimum Requirements: Candidates should have a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in fashion design.
Duration of Position: This position will open in Fall 2020, which starts in September 2020, and is renewed on a yearly basis depending on need and mutual interest.

- Professional Portfolio with examples of their own design projects [PDF format, 10 pages maximum]
- Teaching portfolio with examples of syllabi and students’ work [PDF format, 10 pages maximum]
