Profile

The Department of Art & Design in the School of Architecture & Design at LAU is now accepting applications for an adjunct faculty to teach Photography courses.

This position is for the academic year 2022-2023. Applicants to this position should have prior teaching experience and would be required to teach a combination of the following courses (a maximum of two courses per term): Photography II, Digital Photography I, Studio Photography, Digital Imaging Technologies, Black and White Analog Photography, Architectural Photography, Landscape Photography, Fashion Photography.

Minimum Requirements

Candidates must hold a master degree in photography with teaching experience or a bachelor degree in photography with at least 5 years of teaching experience.

The candidate to this position will be asked to teach courses mainly at the Byblos campus, and may be required if needed to offer one of the courses on the Beirut Campus.

Duration of position

This position will open in Fall 2022, which starts by September 1, and may be renewed according to university policies that apply to adjunct faculty.

Note: Given that this is a part-time position, the university cannot secure the candidate a work permit, if they do not have the legal right to work in Lebanon.
