Position Summary
The Department of Natural Sciences in the School of Arts and Sciences at the Lebanese American University invites applicants for part-time positions in biology to start in January 2017. The department is seeking qualified and motivated applicants in the field of cell and molecular Biology. Priority is given to candidates with previous experience in teaching at the undergraduate level, but all candidates are encouraged to apply.
Minimum Requirements:
- Ph.D. Cell Biology or Molecular Biology, or a Ph.D. in Biology with emphasis in Cell and Molecular Biology from a recognized university
- Relevant university teaching experience a plus
Responsibilities:
- Teach undergraduate courses in cell and molecular Biology or related fields
The Department:
The Department of Natural Sciences (http://sas.lau.edu.lb/natural-sciences/) is one of the seven departments of the School of Arts and Sciences (http://sas.lau.edu.lb/) at LAU. It offers a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Biology, a B.S. in Chemistry, a B.S. in Nutrition, a B.S. in Nutrition and Dietetics Coordinated Program and a Master of Science (M.S.) in Molecular Biology.
