Position Summary
The Department of Nutrition and Food Science in the School of Arts and Sciences at the Lebanese American University invites applicants for a tenure-track faculty position at the rank of Assistant/Associate Professor of Nutrition/Food Science. The department is seeking a highly qualified and motivated full-time faculty member who is committed to innovative teaching, research, program development, academic advising and institutional and community service. Prospective candidates must have earned a Ph.D. in Nutrition, Food Science or a closely related field. The successful candidate will have a proven publication track record in top tier journals alongside the ability to attract grant funding and is expected to teach a variety of courses.

The Department

The Department of Nutrition and Food Science is one of the departments of the School of Arts and Sciences at LAU. The Department offers a BS in Nutrition and Dietetics, a Combined Program in Nutrition and Dietetics, a Dietetic Internship program, and a Minor in Nutrition, a Minor in Food Innovation and Management, and an MS in Nutrition.
