Profile
The School of Architecture and Design at the Lebanese American University is currently accepting applications for a Visiting Faculty position at the Assistant/Associate Professor level in architecture for the Spring 2023 term. The selected candidate will be appointed at the appropriate rank, depending on their teaching, research and/or professional experience, as well as educational degrees.
The successful candidate should have a substantial experience in architectural design and should be able to teach one senior architecture design studio, in addition to one course related to their expertise. The senior studio is open to innovative issues in design, engaging students in projects that address contemporary issues, dealing with complex urban issues.

Minimum Requirements
Master’s degree in architecture, in addition to a minimum of three years teaching and professional experience in the field.
Duration of position
This position will open in Spring 2023, which begins by Mid-January and ends by Mid-May 2023. The position is for one term only, and may be extended for an additional term, depending on need and mutual interest.
