NSSF Formalities Representative - Byblos

The Human Resources Department is currently looking for a NSSF Formalities Representative reporting to the Director of Campus Compensation & Benefits. This position is based on Byblos Campus with frequent commuting to local NSSF and other government offices, and occasional commuting to Beirut Campus.Role Summary
The NSSF Formalities Representative is responsible for following-up on all NSSF-related transactions and maintaining NSSF documents for all LAU employees and students.
Additionally, he/she acts as backup for securing entry visas, work permits and residency papers for LAU community.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
- Processes the registration and termination of all full time and part time staff in the NSSF
- Assists in processing NSSF transactions (medical procedures pre-approvals) for staff members and their families
- Assists Staff and Retirees in requesting their End of Service indemnity from NSSF
- Assists married personnel in collecting their family allowance entitlement from NSSF
- Supports Staff in requesting and collecting the funeral compensation for their deceased direct relatives
- Completes annual NSSF declarations and renewals, social status investigation, and financial/NSSF clearance
- Processes the registration and termination of LAU students in NSSF
- Reconciles reports to ensure data accuracy
- Acts as a backup when needed to handle the below tasks:
- Follows up on securing and renewing entry visas, residency permits, and exit documents for foreign students sponsored by LAU from the Lebanese General Security
- Secures business trip visas from various embassies as needed by staff & faculty members
- Processes work permits issuance, renewal and termination at the Ministry of Labor along with the bank guarantees
- Obtains contracts and committals from Notary Public
- Performs other duties pertinent to this job as assigned
Minimum Required Qualifications
- TS degree, or BT/Baccalaureate/High school degree with additional relevant years of experience
- 3 years of work experience in a related capacity
- Knowledge of NSSF, General Security, and Ministry of Labor regulations
- Good communication skills
- Ability to speak English
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
- Commitment to service excellence and customer relations
- Ability to work under pressure
- Strong organization and time management capabilities
