Mr. Mario Rebeiz
Director of Grants and Contracts
With a rich career spanning nearly 20 years, Mario Rebeiz is no stranger to the education sector. Before joining LAU, he held the position of Higher Education Project Management Specialist at USAID (United States Agency for International Development) in Lebanon for almost eight years, overseeing and managing the entire higher education mission’s portfolio.
An American University of Beirut (AUB) Public Administration graduate, Mr. Rebeiz received his MA in Near and Middle East Studies from the School of Oriental and African Studies (London). He began his career back at AUB Medical Center and eventually moved on to become Operations Manager at the International Management & Training Institute (IMTI) and the Young Men’s Christian Association (YMCA).
In his new position, Mr. Rebeiz reports to LAU’s Provost, Dr. George E. Nasr.
