Position Summary
The Department of Humanities at the Lebanese American University invites applications to a part-time faculty position in the area of Chinese language. The Department is seeking a qualified and motivated part-time faculty member who is committed to innovative teaching skills and online teaching methods.
Responsibilities
- Teach an undergraduate course in Beginning Chinese which is offered alongside other foreign languages as free elective to all students
Qualifications
- An earned B.A. or M.A. in Chinese from a recognized university
- Evidence of teaching experience
The Department
The Department of Humanities consists of nine full-time faculty members and a number of part-time faculty. The Department of Humanities is dedicated to excellence in teaching and the faculty is engaged in research and service to the institution and the community.
